New Center for Brain Health pairs expert care with scientific discovery

Posted on: Monday, July 21st, 2025

Opening in December 2025, the Center for Brain Health at UT Health San Antonio is designed to make life easier and more hopeful for people living with brain conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke and ALS. This new center brings together doctors, therapists, counselors and support services — all in one place — so patients don’t have to travel to multiple locations for care.

The center will offer:

  • 75 exam rooms and 12 infusion chairs for new treatments.
  • Texas’ most advanced brain scanner for early and accurate diagnosis.
  • Support for caregivers, including mental health services and education.
  • Specialists in nutrition, physical therapy, and genetic counseling.
  • Community spaces for support groups and wellness events.

This center is more than just a building — it’s a new way of caring for people with brain diseases, focused on dignity, convenience and hope.
