Postdoctoral fellow receives BrightFocus award

Wenyan Sun, Ph.D., postdoctoral fellow of the Sam & Ann Barshop Institute for Longevity
& Aging Studies at UT Health San Antonio, was awarded a $200,000 two year post-doctoral fellowship award by BrightFocus.
BrightFocus funds research worldwide on Alzheimer’s disease, macular degeneration and glaucoma.
