We are excited for you to join us at the 2023 Neurepiomics and look forward to hosting you in San Antonio, Texas!
Below is some information you might find useful as a visitor to our city and as an attendee to our international conference.
We have a social event planned for all registered attendees each night of the conference.
All transportation to and from the social events are covered.
Saturday, October 7 | 4:00pm – 8:00pm: Cowboy cookout dinner with horseback riding or wagon ride at Bandera Historical Rides in Bandera, Texas
Please review the following notes if planning to attend this event:
If you plan on riding a horse:
- Please dress in pants and closed-toe shoe
- You will be asked to sign a waiver at our check-in table during lunch
If you are driving to our meeting at Enchanted Springs Ranch, please note that the ranch will close at 4:00pm and you will not be able to leave your vehicle there to go to Bandera. We recommend you:
- Park your vehicle at the Bevy Hotel visitor parking lot and use our 7:15am shuttle service to Enchanted Springs Ranch or
- Take your own vehicle to Bandera Historical Rides (35min drive from Enchanted Springs Ranch).
Parking is free at Bandera Historical Rides.
Sunday, October 8 | 5:00pm – 8:00pm: BBQ dinner and country music at Enchanted Springs Ranch
Monday, October 9 | 6:30pm – 8:00pm: Closing dinner at Acenar Mexican Restaurant in Downtown San Antonio (146 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78205)
Parking is available in surrounding self-paid parking garages and parking lots.
Our hotels of choice for this conference are The Bevy (101 Herff Rd, Boerne, TX 78006) and Embassy Suites Landmark (5615 Landmark Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78249).
A shuttle to and from the hotels to the meeting venue and social events are available. Review the agenda for pick-up and drop-off times.
We have had an exciting amount of interest for this year’s Neurepiomics and currently have sold out The Bevy!
Embassy Suites Landmark is still accepting reservations at our discounted rate until Thursday, September 21.
If you booked at either of these hotels individually, please reserve your spot on the shuttle to be included in the hotel pick-up and drop-off. All speakers and persons that coordinated their travel with UT Health San Antonio are automatically included in the shuttle transportation.
San Antonio is known as a “big-city with a small-town feel”.
We are still very much a small-town city with the easiest form of transportation being by car.
We recommend using shared apps like Lyft to get to and from the San Antonio International Airport with pickup locations conveniently directly outside of baggage claim.
If you are staying at one of our designated hotels, shuttle transportation to and from the hotel to the meeting venue and social events is available.
Calendar invites with pick-up times will be sent to those who have organized their travel with us in October.
If your accommodations were not booked by UT Health San Antonio, you may complete the online request form for availability on the shuttle to be included in our hotel pick-up and drop-off at The Bevy or Embassy Suites Landmark.
Please note, there will be only one pick-up every morning and a drop-off every evening.
Please arrive in a timely manner to not delay the conference or others from attending the conference.
Get ready for some Texas heat!
We are predicting the weather in Boerne for our conference to be about high 70s to low 80s.
Our meeting sessions take place at a ranch where the deer and the antelope roam on unpaved roads so, we recommend dressing in closed-toe shoes and cool, comfortable clothing.
The meeting will take place at Enchanted Springs Ranch (242 TX-46 unit a, Boerne, TX 78006).
Parking is free.
Please do not worry, there will be plenty of signage to help direct you around the ranch. Including signage for must-stop photo-ops.
The CHARGE Conference (Oct 10-12) is a separate conference from Neurepiomics (Oct 7-9).
The CHARGE conference is at a different venue than Neurepiomics. The CHARGE conference and hotel are at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk Downtown.
Separate registration and hotel are required.
Transportation at the conclusion of Neurepiomics from Enchanted Springs Ranch to the CHARGE hotel will be available on October 9.
