DESCRIPTION:Caregiver Skills Training Workshops, offered by the Caring for the Caregiver program, offers three-hour sessions facilitated by health care professionals for family caregivers to have hands-on training on:<ul> 	<li>Nursing care</li> 	<li>Transfer and fall prevention</li> 	<li>Nutrition management</li> 	<li>Speech and communication</li></ul>Possible Electives Covered (choose 2)<ul> 	<li>The Virtual Dementia Tour (offered monthly)</li> 	<li>Dental Hygiene</li> 	<li>Audiology</li> 	<li>Bowel/Bladder</li></ul>Participants can choose to attend the entire program from 10:00am-3:00pm or choose to attend only topics of interest.A light lunch will be provided.
