South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference Travel Award
The Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio is pleased to announce a Travel Award sponsored by Andrea Giuffrida, Ph.D., Vice President of Research at UT Health San Antonio.
The award will be $500 towards travel to a meeting related to Alzheimer’s disease or other neurodegenerative disorders.
Students (before M.D .or Ph.D. degree) are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to those who presented posters.
To Apply
Submit a one page (500 words) with the following information:
- Your interest, work (clinical, clinical research, basic wet lab, imaging, genetic, bioinformatics research) or unique viewpoint regarding neurodegenerative diseases.
- The conference you would like to attend from February 2020 to August 2021.
- What you hope to learn from or present at the selected conference.
Submissions are to be emailed to BiggsInstitute@uthscsa.edu by Sunday, February 23 at 6pm (CST).
The decision will be announced at the South Texas Alzheimer’s Conference on Tuesday, February 25 at 6pm.
