“The Essentials of Caregiving” is an eight week series of classes focused on providing support and tools a caregiver may need as they care for a family member living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants may register for the series at any time.
This class is a supportive class for caregivers to share concerns and learn more about Alzheimer's and other dementias, including treatments and strategies for care from group facilitators and other caregivers.
The class is free to attend. Registration is required.
This class is provided by the UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing Caring for the Caregiver program.
