Event Details:
“The Essentials of Caregiving” is an eight week series of classes focused on providing support and tools a caregiver may need as they care for a family member living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants may register for the series at any time.

The “Essentials of Caregiving: Planning for Future Care” session is designed for caregivers and their family members to discuss the importance of planning for the future, including decisions related to care and advance care planning. You will have the opportunity to share and reflect with other caregivers on their experiences while also discussing strategies to help your loved one prepare for next steps.

Registration is required.

This event offers a Cognitive Engagement Program for people diagnosed with dementia to participate in a tailored activity with a health care professional while family members and caregivers attend the event. To enroll in the Cognitive Engagement Program, please call or email Sara Masoud at least 3 days before the scheduled event.
