The Essentials of Caregiving: Legal and Financial Planning

As a caregiver, you will need to plan for future decisions. This session is designed to help you and your family members prepare for legal and financial decisions, including power of attorney, wills and different payment options.

This month's presentation is led by Elder Law Attorney, Carol Bertsch. As an expert on all things Elder Law and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Carol has over 24 years experience in serving those in need of advice and guidance in issues related to Elder Law.

This workshop is part of the UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing Caring for the Caregiver program.

“The Essentials of Caregiving” is an eight week series of classes focused on providing support and tools a caregiver may need as they care for a family member living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants may register for the series at any time.
